Good Sh*t Weekly: February 26th, 2024

Welcome to Good Sh*t Weekly, where we curate you a playlist of bops to help you make it through your week.

Listen to all these songs on our Good Sh*t Weekly playlist on Spotify / Apple!

"cake" - wolfacejoeyy

As sexy drill continues to take over, wolfacejoeyy has blessed us with a new addicting single: "cake". The first line is catchy as hell: "I tell her she sexy, she said 'period, purr'". This is an anthem for the baddies, complete with smooth drill production.

"Rap saved my life!" - demahjiae

Oakland's very own demahjiae just released three new tracks under a project called "Jesus Take The Wheel". With a bright, sparkly sample, "Rap saved my life!" is our personal favorite, but the entire project is golden.

"Don't Call Me" - Alemeda

Alemeda is a rockstar, and "Don't Call Me" is her latest masterpiece. Not only is the song super powerful and perfect for the girlies to sing along to, but the music video is gorgeous and so well put together.

"Lately, Nothing" - Lexa Gates, Alé Araya

This is a collab we didn't see coming but we absolutely needed. LA-based producer Alé Araya and NY-based vocalist Lexa Gates team up for a beautifully moody track<3

"JELLY" - Mercury, Niontay

"JELLY" is a truly immaculate vibe. The production is colorful and fun, and pairs perfectly with Mercury and Niontay's nonchalant vocals.

"80 Summers" - John Roseboro

Inspired by tales of wives who have dreamt of tragedy and been ignored by their husbands, who would later face an unfortunate fate, "80 summers" is a beautifully written song by the great John Roseboro. His music is always thoughtful and intentional, and this is one of our favorites from him.

"spaceship"- csndra

Wiseboy Jeremy is one of our favorite rappers rising in the underground. The texture of his voice is mesmerizing, and when he links up with the producer legend Kirti Pandey, their synergy is undeniably great. "Pedal tha Ave" is their latest collaboration, and it comes along with a super sick music video.

"peace/piece" -$avvy

$avvy is constantly pushing boundaries, and his newest single "peace/piece" shows impressive growth and exploration of new sounds.
